Hydrangea paniculata Ilvobo forms a compact, mounded deciduous shrub with finely toothed green leaves and many strong stems. Large white panicles cover the plant from early to midsummer and develop a soft pink blush as they age.
Grow it in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Prune by about one-third in late winter or early spring because it flowers on new wood. Its dwarf size suits containers, border fronts, low hedges, and mass planting.
